Amhranáithe performs authentic traditional Irish, Scottish, Canadian, British, and American songs and tunes. Irish Music Magazine called Amelia Hogan's voice "buoyant, lilting, distinctive". Along with Jimmy Murphy (guitar, mandolin, vocals) and Suzuki Cady (fiddle, banjo, vocals), they bring lush textures and a timeless, storytelling quality to performances.

Ballybogs
From Bend, this group has been playing traditional Irish music together since 2017, after they met while playing in sessions in Central Oregon. In addition to vocals, this group’s instruments include fiddle, bouzouki, mandolin, uilleann pipes, concertina, whistle, guitar, bodhran, flute and button accordion.

Blackthorn Academy of Dance
Irish Dance at its finest - with toe-tapping music, engaging rhythmic beats, and fun choreography with dancers age 5 to adults.

Ceili of the Valley
Ceili of the Valley Society is a nonprofit organization based in Salem dedicated to promoting and perpetuating Celtic heritage and culture throughout the Willamette Valley, primarily with events incorporating music and dance. Dancers will perform traditional Ceili dances and then invite the audience to learn a few dances with them.

Fionnghal
Fionnghal is back, ready to perform Scottish tunes and songs full of spirit and heart! They combine traditional music from all parts of Scotland with the contemporary to make a varied and harmonious mix. The original Fionnghal trio (Erika Nagamoto - fiddle; Beth Brown - cello, whistle, and Irish flute; and Marjorie Sandor - guitar) will be joined by Katie Maxey (fiddle, vocals) and Laureen Urey (vocals, percussion).

James Wilson
James Wilson is a multi-talented musician who sings and plays tin whistle, guitar, and mandolin. He is currently a member of two bands, Stout Rebellion and Whiskey & Stitches in Sacramento, California. James will be a roving minstrel at the festival, entertaining the audience during intervals between the bands.

Loose Flagstone
This Corvallis Celtic band draws from Irish, Scottish and American musical influences both traditional and contemporary. Come savor the rich variety of moods – from mysterious airs to driving and danceable reels and jigs – played on fiddle (Jennifer Parke), silver flute (Leslie Glassmire), bodhran (Tracy Daugherty) and guitar (Marjorie Sandor).

Open the Door for Three
Open the Door for Three is a Boston-based trio of world class musicians including fiddle player Liz Knowles, uilleann piper Kieran O’Hare, and Dublin-born singer and bouzouki player Pat Broaders. Their music is a rare combination of unearthed tunes from centuries-old collections, newly composed melodies, fresh arrangements of songs old and new, homages to the musicians and bands they grew up listening to, and the unmatched energy of a trio of good friends playing great Irish music together.

Schmid and Guest
Cayley Schmid and Aaron Guest met at the Bellingham Farmers Market in 2009. Desperately jealous of each other’s busking success, they neutralized the competition and started a band together. This was the beginning of a decade-long musical partnership that descended into marriage. Together they play instrumental Celtic music on fiddle and piano.

Sharon and Dave Thormahlen
These local favorite musicians will perform Celtic music and original compositions on harp, mandolin, bouzouki, tenor banjo and guitar in a special pre-concert show at PRAx.

Steeplechase
Traditional songs and tunes from Ireland and Scotland with stellar band from the Mt. Vernon and Bellingham, WA area: Hanz Araki (flutes and vocals), Sam Vogt (guitar and whistles), Zach Bauman (Irish bouzouki), and David Lofgren (bodhrán).

The Nettles
An always popular Corvallis band, the Nettles play improvisational music based on traditional Celtic and American tunes. From hard driving jam music to lyrical folk jazz, this versatile group extends the boundaries of traditional music

Triple File Band
Three youth performers who play a variety of traditional music from around the globe on twin fiddles and a guitar. Musicians are Sam and Charlie (age 14) and Greta (age 12).

Whitethorn Crossing
With two fiddlers, guitar, cello, whistles and bodhran, this Portland group plays driving session and dances tunes, as well as singing sweet, wistful ballads.

Willamette Valley Pipers
Led by Pipe Major Nathan Wahlgren, this pipe and drum group from Eugene will enchant festival-goers with traditional bagpipe music.
